The Hangover

PeeWee's Big Adventure hold well, too. I can even manage to watch it with my son. Earnest, too. So, props to them.

Ace Ventura 2 was pretty good when I first saw the movie.

I think one's age and circumstance define what we like the most, at the current time.

Idiocracy!

Is that the movie, or a commentary on this board?

Top 2 movies I saw in the theater on their first-run that had the crowd rocking:

1. Ghostbusters

2. Animal House

but I would have to say Pootie Tang. :D

Too many to mention, but one of the single most funny scenes, one where people in the theater were reduced to tears from laughing so hard, was the rhino birth scene in "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls." Ironic that it came in such a stupid movie, too.

What are some of the funniest movies ever?  I nominate The BIg Lewbowski, Airplane, and Life of Brian.  What say you?

I have trouble with absolutes. (funniest, tastiest, etc ever.) But movies that I think are hilarious (that I can think of right now) include Galaxy Quest and Office Space.

yes - great movie.  could not get made today.

Unfortunately, you're right. It's a sad commentary on our society, too.
