BuffaloBill Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 http://www.nfl.com/photoessays/0ap3000000797366 A few of us here were lucky enough to watch Bruce play in his prime. NFL.com article lists him as 2nd best all time #1 pick only surpassed by Peyton. 8 1

Saxum Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I do not count being "old enough" as being lucky. Met Bruce before when he was playing in Washington and once afterwards. When he is "on" he is very personable. 1

Charles Romes Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 No matter how often his greatness is acknowledged on this board it is not enough. He brought us great joy for many years watching him dominant. With Watt heading for a short career another dimension of his greatness - durability - is highlighted. Thank you Bruce Smith. 6

Amaru523 Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Awesome, great times! Unfortunately he's one of the all time greatest players without a ring.
CommonCents Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 His hit on Boomer is something I will never forget. 1 1
TAinLack. Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Wasn't Bruce one of first D lineman to utilize the "spin" move?
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Nothing or no one made that place come alive as much as when Bruce made a sack!! So much fun watching him play!!

It does but But that doesn't mean 34 ends can't be very very productive . Watt has had multiple seasons of 20.5 sacks and another 17.5 season I don't believe playing 43 end adds 40 more sacks to his career ... maybe he gets 15- 20 over his career regardless he is the best 34 end of all time
