If you are going to draft a bad QB, don't trade up to get him. It's not like Brandon Beane can hold other teams at gunpoint and demand they trade their pick. If these QBs are so freakin' awesome, maybe these teams might actually want to draft them instead of handing them over to the Bills? (Let's play a game, shall we? If you are the Bills GM and a franchise QB falls to you, would you trade your pick away? No? Then why would another team?) So if things fall badly draftwise and the Bills are shut out of the top prospects, are you going to make a bad situation worse by wasting draft capital trading up for a player you don't believe in? Or will you stay at 12 or even trade down, then concentrate on the next level of QB's, like Lauletta, White, Rudolph, etc? QBs that you can get in Round 2. Then you make the most of the draft by plugging the other holes on the roster. That makes more sense than making a rebound pick. Edited April 24, 2018 by PromoTheRobot
#34fan Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Yeesh! -Look at all the talent we'd pass up if we grabbed our ankles to move up to #2... I'd like Da'Ron Payne if he's there at 22, but a trade-down doesn't seem so bad.
