Best Williams Available Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 For reasons that aren’t important, I’m looking for a short list of former or current Buffalo Bills players that attended (played football for) University of Nebraska — Lincoln. My list begins and ends with R Incognito. I’m hoping the community, especially the guys that have been around a long time, can help me expand it. Thanks! Quote

Blokestradamus Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Chris Kelsay played at Nebraska. For draft picks all-time, you can sort this list by school - https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/draft.htm 1 Quote

In 1974 the Bills drafted LBs Rudd and Nelson in the first two rounds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nebraska_Cornhuskers_in_the_NFL_Draft 1 Quote

row_33 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 The draft doesn't get you free agents or trades or other means for a Husker to play for the BIlls. Gotta DIG to find a Vince Ferragamo!!! this is a the best list of Huskers, but you'll have to do the leg work, and i have found players with game experience that do not have mention on this site... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/schools/nebraska/ 1 Quote

Richie Incognito wouldn’t be included in the draft links as you mention, just like Ferragamo. Appreciate the link @row_33 Quote

These are just the types of gems I was looking for, thanks @K-9. FWIW re:McDole — https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/5/11/1466953/top-50-all-time-bills-no-29-de-ron It says his 12 interceptions are the most by a DL in NFL history? K-9 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 McDole was on the roster, but I'm not sure he got a lot of playing time in '63 and I was only 4 at the time. I got Torczan's name from a program handed out to the statisticians in the press box (my dad kept the rushing stats). 1 Quote
