metzelaars_lives
There isn't "a" CBS Sports mock draft. There's like six dudes on there who all do one. It doesn't mean anything anyway.

In your scenario they would be giving Cleveland what amounts to enough value to move up to number #2. I understand the spiel about it being a sellers market this year because of the quarterbacks, blah blah. In the scenario CBS outlined Buffalo is already over paying by a high second round value. In yours they are over paying by a 1st round value. 12, 53, and 65 is a much closer value. Edited March 30, 2018 by thenorthremembers

They already have an abundance of picks and plenty of cap space. With their two high first round picks they are going to go for elite talent rather than get a quantity of good talent. Their owner has instructed the new GM that now is the time to start emphasizing winning games rather than focus on the future. The fan base is too fatigued and exasperated with the process. I think they can win with a left tackle and their current roster.

Center is a premium spot if you want to run the ball well and don't want to get your quarterback killed. I needed to be more clear. I hope that Groy is that replacement. The Bills do need interior o lineman for the aging Incognito and the right guard spot is still a guessing game.
Tyrod's friend
On some level we need to look at the history of the Browns recently. If they were to take the Bills "offer" ... getting another 1st in 2019 would give them multiple first round picks 6 out of 8 years. It would amount to 17 first round picks in only 7 years. In the last five years ... ZERO Pro Bowls in 11 attempts. These guys have been the 1962 Mets among draft analysts. Yeah, I know, I know, Peppers and Garrett have a lot of potential. What- ev. Anyways, pretty much love the cbs draft. If the Browns had functional qbing last year they would have easily won four more games. I'm not a fan of Tyrod Taylor and am glad he is off of our roster. However, if he provides the Browns with an average level of play at his position and with the addition of players from the draft and free agency this Great Lake team can take a quantum leap forward. As I and some others have said before the Browns have a better core of young players than the Bills do. In my view the big mistake that the Browns made this year is that they kept Hue Jackson. They should have moved on and started fresh. That was an owner decision; it was a mistake.

They have us trading our 12th pick, our 4th round pick and our 2019 1st round pick to move up to 4. They have Allen to Cleveland, Farnum of to the Giants and Rosen to the Jets. The Bills going up to get Baker Mayfield, then taking WR Cortland Sutton at 22, C Frank Ragnow at 53 and LB Josey Jewell at 56. i'm ok with using our 1st in 2019 because we have so many potential starting caliber players in this draft act class and we have probably 80 million in cap space to fill holes in 2019. What are your thoughts on this two round Bills draft. 3 As someone who lives 35 minutes from where he grew up, I'd be extremely happy with his. He is actually hosting his wedding reception in the town I live in. His future wife's mother is good friends with my mother-in-law.

That is the 2nd hardest thing to obtain. The Bills could regress as well. I’d use whatever from this draft before including that pick. If Cleveland is the trade partner though they’d much rather add again in 2019 as they have a lot this year. I have not had a complete look at the 2019 draft, but you are right about the DL prospects. It is most impressive. The entire starting Defensive Line from Clemson will be available. Nick Bosa from Ohio State, Rashan Gary from Michigan if he declares. People are also high on Ed Oliver from Houston.
