By far! 6 hours ago, 26CornerBlitz said: ANALYSISWhere Do Teams Need More Help? Matt Harmon identifies the position group with the biggest gaps to fill this offseason -- and a possible solution either via the draft or roster shifts -- for all 32 NFL teams. AFC FATAL FLAWS NFC FATAL FLAWS Buffalo Bills: Wide Receiver The easy and obvious answer here is quarterback. The Bills know it, too, which is why they've collected a bounty of picks to move up in next month's NFL draft. When they do acquire that franchise passer, he'll need some more capable bodies to work with. Buffalo currently has Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones(who just had a concerning off-field incident) and not much else returning from a wideout group that was wildly ineffective last season. Buffalo's wide receivers averaged just 2.47 yards of separation when the quarterback released the ball last season, the lowest for any receiving corps over the last two years. Their receivers managed a 44.6 percent catch rate when lined up out wide last season, ranking 30th. It would be irresponsible to drop a rookie quarterback into this passing offense as currently constructed.Solution: It looks like Buffalo wants to sacrifice the 12th and 22nd overall selections to get into the top five picks and scoop up a franchise passer. If the Bills retain picks 53 and 56 in the second round, they could look to find that quarterback a long-term running mate at that point. Someone like Michael Gallupwould bring the all-around ability to make contested catches and create the separation this offense needs.

JerseyBills
Clay popped out in Carolina last year on a few occasions. I was wondering why we let him go, he made some big plays there, we got some nice competition going at WR . I also see us drafting a WR on day 2 or 3. Don't sleep on Clay, he has upside for sure, good signing!!

On the other hand, the current administration did give up some draft capital to go get Benjamin. But that was reasonable, unlike the Watkins fiasco. FLFan
Lots of reaction for a candidate for punt returner and an occasional fly pattern target. Jeez! 1. It's friggin' March. 2. In what universe did anyone expect the Bills were going to load up this year on top tier WR's in free agency, when right now the QB is AJ McCarron and (hopefully) some unknown at this point rookie? This was not going to be the year the Bills spent what few free agency chips they have on the WR position. It would make no sense to do so. Draft the QB, then build your WR core next year when you have much more cap room and a better idea of exactly what you need. The WRs are going to be Benjamin, Jones, and 3 or 4 utterly forgettable guys out of the 10 or so they will bring to camp including this guy, Streeter, Holmes, a rookie, everyone's favorite preseason superstar, etc. Might as well get used to the idea. We might get lucky with a diamond in the rough or two, and perhaps our WRs will actually look better if AJ can surpass Tyrod's limited QB skills, and our OC can figure out how to call a game. 1

Would you prefer to have the O line secured before starting a rookie ? Or build that around the QB as well ? Are you thinking AJ is going to be the starter even if Bills draft a QB ?
