Virgil Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Yes. The only reason I would knock some off is due to games missed each season. He’s the most dynamic offensive player in the NFL and genuinely does both the job of receiver and back. The fact that he also plays with Antonio is amazing. 1
ndirish1978 Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 There is no RB worth 17M. You can replace that production with 2 decent RBs for way less. It's the one position where redundancy makes more sense than a superstar. 8

Royale with Cheese Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 No...no way I'm putting that much money in a RB.
DCOrange Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I don't know about $17 million, but Bell might be the only RB in the NFL where I'd argue that having him is better than having a good, cheap committee. 3
Kirby Jackson Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Okay, I’ll bite, what about Bell as our big ticket FA signing next offseason?

N.Y. Orangeman Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I would keep Brown/Bell/Roethlisberger together as long as they are competitive, with the tag as a preferred method.
auburnbillsbacker Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Maybe for 1 year but not for more than that. 1
billspro Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I don't think any players are worth 17 million a year unless they play QB. If I was the Steelers I would trade him. He could be replaced by a running back in the first round this year and their offense wouldn't skip a beat.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 hell of a back but not 17ml a year back.
