I hope Jimbo can find some peace and live out the rest of his days in some sort of comfort. I just don't have a great feeling about this.
JohnC Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 The past few years he has been so much. He has a loving family supporting him. His daughter is a beautiful person in a number of ways.

Fibula resection is a tough one. I treated a guy last year who had similar procedure, fibula bone piece taken out and grafted into his shoulder (not jaw) His walking came back pretty quick, but it was painful. He also wasn't a cancer patient, so bone healing is a lot slower for Jim due to that. Wishing him the best. I met him as a kid back in the early 90s, was a great experience. 2
Buffalo716 Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 God Bless Jim Kelly and the Kelly family #KellyTough 1
ColoradoBills Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 Great to see you out there Jim! On a personal note, today is the last day of my brothers radiation treatments!!!!!! So far it's looking good for him. Keep fighting guys! 1
May Day 10 Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 He actually looks really good, considering the invasiveness and recency of the procedure.
Infinitum Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I wonder if he will talk any different than before. Sure looks different. I have a relative who went through something kind of similar, looks and talks completely different now.
ddaryl Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 the group shot of Jim Bruce Steve Thurman kind of choked me up a bunch, knowing why they are all there together 1
VaMilBill Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 Is that swelling in the jaw or will he look like that from now on? He looks like he's aged a lot the last couple years. Poor guy. Praying for Jimbo
