JP's Voice Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 With all the news from the owners meeting and the new catch rule, I can't help but look back to the Super Bowl where 99% of viewers thought that Corey Clement did not catch that TD pass because he was out of bounds before he regained possession. However, if you look at the video in slow motion, you can see that his foot dragged in bounds when he regained possession before he went out of bounds. Look closely at the blades of his spike and the rubber pellets flying up as the actual spike drags along the turf. All of those Pats fans thought they got hosed when in reality it he had two feet in AND control of the ball. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-cant-miss-plays/0ap3000000914397/Can-t-Miss-Play-Clement-comes-down-with-fantastic-TD-catch-in-double-coverage
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 I'm not sure who you are talking about when you say 99% of viewers. Just one Patriot ball washing announcer.
