ProcessYaDigg Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 I like the other thread about the worst FA signing in Bills history. So, I'd like to turn that around and ask you all; who completely balled out here in Buffalo, to earn a rich contract somewhere else, but flopped. The first one that comes to my mind is Jarius Byrd. And I was happy to see him go.
Seanbillsfan2206 Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Peerless Price. Complete dud in Atlanta 5
BuffaloBillyG Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Nate Odomes...though that was off the field injury related.
whatdrought Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Jairus Byrd. Local hero turned overpaid nobody.

MrEpsYtown Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) Gotta be Peerless or Byrd I would think. I guess Peerless over Byrd because they gave up a draft pick I believe. Nate Clements contract was pretty bad at the time as well. Edited March 25, 2018 by MrEpsYtown
macaroni Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 gotta be Stevie Johnson ... 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons with us .... then nothing. 1
BuffaloRush Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Mario Williams...went from 14 sacks in 2014 to 1.5 in 2016. You’re welcome Miami 3
Starr Almighty Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 I was sad when we let Nate Clements walk but he was asking for too much
Straight Hucklebuck Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Jairus Byrd. I admit I thought the Bills were cheaping out with him, but he dropped out of the league immediately.

BillsFan130 Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Stevie Johnson. CJ Spiller. Looking like Mike Gillislee as well

Bad Things Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 It's gotta be Nate Odomes. I loved him as a Bill, but he didn't do anything (due to injury) after he left here.

dpberr Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) Cornelius Bennett. Best seasons were as a Bill. Had his only 100+ tackle season here. With ATL and IND post 1995, never broke 75 tackles, never made another Pro Bowl. Some fans forget he was a 2x defensive player of the year here and coming out of Alabama, some thought he was better than Lawrence Taylor. The Bills made a ballsy trade to acquire him in 1987. Nice move by Donahoe by using the franchise tag on Peerless and then trading him to Atlanta for a first round draft pick. That was about the only good thing he did. 1
