Veldheer at LT, Nelson at LG and shifting Bolles to RT should make the line MUCH better.

The plan is for him to play RT.

Which could mean Elway can draft a QB because he has his OL set.

D*mn.

LG is still bad for them, unless they draft Nelson at 5.

What were his grades last year?  Seems cheap for a quality starting RT

Pro Football Focus had him rated as the 50th best tackle and a grade of "poor." https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/jared-veldheer/5594

For comparison's sake, Jordan Mills is rated as the 43rd best tackle and a grade of "below average."

Always liked him, wish we could have picked him up.

Wow! Would love that lineup.

Im starting to think their rankings are worthless as many times superior players are rated below inferior ones.

Yea the Cardinals moved him last year. His days as a LT are done. They will stick with Bolles at LT. I think he was up and down his rookie year as expected and I am not sure his ceiling is any more than "serviceable" but if they do go Nelson at #5 then I expect their line to be improved. The Broncos chances in 2018 come down to getting better QB play than the horror show of last year.

Nah Veldheer's best days are behind him that is all. He is a kind of average RT now and not much more.

The chances of Denver picking a non QB just plummetted from zippo to zero.  They were ALWAYS picking a QB.  The good news is they will probably pick a crappy one.

Did the Dak Prescott over Connor Cook rank tip the scales?
