Chuck Wagon Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Veldheer at LT, Nelson at LG and shifting Bolles to RT should make the line MUCH better. 2

Virgil Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 What were his grades last year? Seems cheap for a quality starting RT

Reed83HOF Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I hope we didn't miss an opportunity to send Glenn, 21 and something else here to move up higher than 12...
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Always liked him, wish we could have picked him up. 6 hours ago, Chuck Wagon said: Veldheer at LT, Nelson at LG and shifting Bolles to RT should make the line MUCH better. Wow! Would love that lineup. 5 hours ago, JayBaller10 said: Pro Football Focus had him rated as the 50th best tackle and a grade of "poor." https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/jared-veldheer/5594 For comparison's sake, Jordan Mills is rated as the 43rd best tackle and a grade of "below average." Im starting to think their rankings are worthless as many times superior players are rated below inferior ones.

They will stick with Bolles at LT. I think he was up and down his rookie year as expected and I am not sure his ceiling is any more than "serviceable" but if they do go Nelson at #5 then I expect their line to be improved. The Broncos chances in 2018 come down to getting better QB play than the horror show of last year. 1 hour ago, Buffalo Barbarian said: Always liked him, wish we could have picked him up. Wow! He is a kind of average RT now and not much more.

The chances of Denver picking a non QB just plummetted from zippo to zero. They were ALWAYS picking a QB. The good news is they will probably pick a crappy one. 4 hours ago, Buffalo Barbarian said: Im starting to think their rankings are worthless as many times superior players are rated below inferior ones. Did the Dak Prescott over Connor Cook rank tip the scales?
