At best hes bottom of round 1. Guarantee he doesnt go top 10.

I don't care what any of these media types say. I listen to people that do the scouting for a living.

What scouts have been telling you he won't go in the 1st?? Yikes..

Lets see him read some NFL defenses under pressure and then well talk. Pro days are useless. Colt Mccoy had a great pro day.

But thehardtruth is at the end of the day, he was still colt McCoy. Bbbiiiggggg difference between the 2!!

Going #3 is the best case scenario ;)

Kinda starting to think this way though. They have Josh and Teddy so they could be the bridge to developing J Allen.

Good wings here go for about $1.75-$2 a wing... But Good and Wings dont normally go in the same sentence around here.

With all due respect,  where are you where wings are $2 a pop AND Josh Allen isn't a rd1 qb??

Take it easy on Colt McCoy, he seems to get happiness from beating the Patriots.

Pro days are designed to make guys look good. GM's and Scouts know this. The only thing that would change their draft status from a pro day is if they went out and looked completely terrible.

After watching that pro day he is the best and no one can touch that pro day. This kid is a generational talent. Bills must try and move up and get him.

Lol ?

I have Allen as the #5, possibly #6 overall qb because he is 6th overall in short, intermediate and deep ball accuracy of the big 6 of: Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, Jackson, Rudolph & Allen.

U know who else they said the very same things about Mr Jamarcus Russell so tread lightly on expectations.

I think Allen will be our pick. He has a lot that really impresses teams (size, arm, athleticism) and if he falls out of the top 5 I think they will view that as great value considering how some think he could go #1 overall. It's either him or Mayfield at this point. I think Rosen and Darnold are tier 1 and then Mayfield and Allen are tier 2 so right now if the best we can do is the tier 2 guys then so be it. We would have had more options if we had traded up but I don't see it happening at this point unless one of the tier 1 guys fall or if they have one of the tier 2 guys rated way higher than the other. Why trade up now if the best you can get to is 4 and you are still only going to be able to get a tier 2 guy? Unless they have Allen rated way higher than Mayfield (I definitely wouldn't) then a trade up makes no sense now. Better to wait and see how the draft plays out

If it was your personal career and livelihood on the line there isn't a single person on this board who'd pick him #1-#5.

He's this year's Christian Hackenberg.  If arm strength was all that mattered, Hackenberg would have been a Day #1 starter for the Jets.

I somewhat agree but Hack was a total statue and went into the fetal position when he felt pressure. He was limited to his big throws that i didn’t make often enough. Allen can move.

You do realize it's just a pro Day right?

Man you should pull up my thread on "Great Breakdown on rookie prospects" there's a good link you should click on

Nah! Darnold will go number 1 to Browns. He's clean. Allen requires alot of projection to be number 1.

By he's clean, do you mean that nobody in division 1 college football had more fumbles and other assorted turnovers, or that NFL teams think he'll change and protect the football for the first time ever?

I hope his name is called before the Bills get on the clock.

Hmm.  I'm not a scout, but I didn't see anything that wowed me.  Even the long ball that I saw was pretty bad.  The receiver had to wait for it, and it looked like a punt.  The next play I saw was a check down that was 3 feet above the receiver.  I'm sure Tyrod could look awesome on a pro day too.  Probably JP Losmans pro day was similar too.

I'm thinking he'll be the pick too.  He has tremendous talent to wow, but just enough question marks for many teams at the top to be a bit cautious.  I could see him falling past the Colts at 6 and then teams begin trying to make that next set of trades with the Bucs and other teams from 7-11.

The long ball you are talking about was like an 80 yard throw. Yeah he had to wait for it and at first i was like wtf too but you gotta put that in perspective. The tape is always and will always be where the truth lies though

You can’t teach what we just saw. It just comes natural. If he played in a dink or dunk offense he would be 68 percent completion percentage. he was always running for his life at Wyoming and had crappy receivers. You guys just don’t get it. That was what NFL teams dream of having. A pocket passer that can also move out and throw on the run if things break down. This is the QB to have bar none and it’s not even close. Fast runner, 6 foot 5, 232 ponds ready to be molded. Its as if the gods made him and sent him to earth.

Now here's the thing. If you watch Allen, when he has time to set his feet properly he makes beautiful  throws, where his accuracy  goes to crap is when they are all over the place. Trouble for Allen was his oline was garbage and he was constantly running  for his life and thus not getting his feet set properly. It's a correctable issue.
