QCity Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 We've had a QB throw for 30 TDs once in our franchise history. I think fans would be OK with him. 1
Robin Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 wait and see how this draft goes then we will see what OBD FO does in offseason and training camps. Trust the Process

OR would you guys still want to trade him for a 1st and roll the dice with the unproven first round qb the Bills drafted this season? That would be a great situation to have! That would be better than it not happening and provide more viable options. 1
RememberTheRockpile Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Is there a rule saying you can't have an 8 year bridge QB? 1
Lfod Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I'm just kinda hoping he doesn't fall flat on his face and it isn't embarrassing. 1
LeGOATski Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Just keep both QBs and try to win a Super Bowl. 1

Resolving this potential dilemma is item 14,375 on my list of things to do right now. Let's cross that bridge if and when we come to it.
Elite Poster Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 This is essentially like asking, "If Tyrod miraculously becomes something we know he isn't..." Why people. Why. Being a backup QB your entire career in the NFL never, yes never, means you will step in and be Drew Brees because riding the pine has some magical effect on a players ability. No.
Real McClappy Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 AJ is going to surprise a ton of fans this year.
HumbleAndHungry Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 The better AJ does the better for us. Remember we signed him to a two-year very cap friendly deal. if he has a great year we trade him in the off-season for a high draft pick

No. Never? I wont go down that entire list of QB's but how about Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo?
Epstein's Mother Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I'd take it. Only one quarterback threw for 4,000 yds and 30 td's in 2017. (Tom Brady)

That’s not franchise? 4K may not mean franchise but as long as (like the rest of the post asks) he get's the Bills to a AFC east title & has that kind of record 11/5 or 12/4 then he should at least be in the conversation ! But don't forget there are those fans still out there that agreed we should have put Rob Johnson in in place of Flutie ??? Just Sayin
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 So long as the 30 TDs are to Bills players and not the other team, then yeah duh.
