Color me contrarian.......I don't want to give up all those high early picks for the #2 to get a QB that maybe, maybe might be a top 10 NFL QB.  Bills have to many old and slow guys on the roster and need to get new talent now, or, a QB won't matter at all.

If the giants are smart, they will hold out on making a trade as long as possible. As a fan I hope they make a trade soon, but I have a feeling it may go all the way to draft night

I cant ever picture a situation where the 'qb wont matter at all'

I'm all in on trading our 2 1st round picks and #65 that we got from Cleveland on the Taylor trade but that's it ...this roster has enough holes in it that we need this draft to address the shortcomings in our Dline,LBs etc....What good is it to have a rookie QB sitting on the pine in 2018 and not have the ability to win games now? Like the Springsteen song 1 step up and 2 steps back

Offers?

So we gave them more than one offer?

Well McShay never said they got offers. He said he believes the Bills and Arizona will make sweet offers.

Agree.  I think the tricky balance for Buffalo is how far the Giants trade back.  If we could get up to #7 pre-draft I think it would make convincing the Giants to do the trade an absolute slam dunk... the problem is if they go to #7 that does tip their hat to any trade up rivals.

Seattle is the worst, Tampa's is dreadful too.  The Giants are in there with those two teams though.

Don't forget Arizona's line. It is awful.

Yeah, there is no reason for them to keep the pick unless they are going to select a QB with it. The pick is too valuable to keep for anything else. The Giants are a well run organization, and will either trade it or pick a QB. They aren't the Jets.

They could get 2 top Oline prospects by trading that pick, at least. And more....

PS.  the Bills would give them ANY lineman they want on the roster, plus picks.

I disagree I think Dawkins is untouchable after losing GLenn

I find it hard to believe. I hope they don’t give away the farm.

This particular rumor may be tough to believe but it's no secret that Beane is making calls. Good thing is we have 1.5 farms this year so if we give away a farm, we will still have half left.

Can this just happen or not already?!

Seriously. My pitchfork is sharpened, I just got a new wick installed on my torch. Awaiting word from the angry mob on what to do about McBeanmott.

From some tweets/speculation, I've read that Buffalo's offer to move to #2 is #12, #22, #53, #65 and 2019's 2nd round pick. That would leave them with #2 overall, and one pick in the 2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th rounds.

If that was to get it done then I do it without pause for thought.

Even if the Bills stay at the #12 spot and work a deal with the Giants in which they get multiple picks the Giants can still upgrade their OL and add a very good back that isn't named Barkley. The issue as I see it is whether the Giants want to draft a qb with the second pick. If that's what they want then they should stay in their current position. If they want to bolster their roster, including the OL, then making a hard squeezed deal with the Bills makes a lot of sense for them.

McShay didn't say what the OP typed. He said "he believes" the Giants are gonna get some pretty sweet offers from Arizona or Buffalo.

Thanks for noticing that, I edited the post and gave you a thumbs up for it. I made the post shortly after I heard it and went off of memory, thanks for correcting this!

Giants have traded JPP to the Bucs for a 3rd round pick.  that might mean they are staying at 2 and grabbing Chubb or trading out and grabbing Davenport

They also unloaded a big contract. Sweet Offers could also imply players - See Hughes, Jerry; Lawson, Shaq or even CutonaDime25 (doubtful)
