I want to say that I saw something not too many months ago saying that the Bills could be worth 1.6-1.7 billion in WNY in current times. Remember the Pegula's purchase has aged a few years already.
george c Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Pegulas paid market price at the time.. I’m not so sure our team is worth a whole lot more than what they paid as long as it sits in Buffalo.

Buffalo_Gal Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 "Canada's third-richest person." Does that mean the Panthers will move to Toronto? 2 1
row_33 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 you try to normalize the cash flow and use a multiplier to get the purchase price of sanity then people come in not caring at all what that figure is and double the current price, to the moon
Wayne Arnold Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 But I keep being told that the NFL is dying you guys. 1

Is Carolina that trendy enough a location to hope for the increase in value? I guess when an owner has to sell for bad reasons then he can expect twice the market value for his franchise now?

Owners scream for years they are over assessed on valuation fair market value by local assessors office resulting in higher then they want in real estate taxes. Then when it goes up for sale they all ask for 40% to 60% over what the local taxing body is assessing it at. Very small rental Duplex I just looked at wants $120,000 and fair market assessed value by assessors office is $75,000......60% markup!

Charlotte has been growing for probably the last 20 years at a decent rate year after year. I would be surprised if the value for the team does not include speculation on where the city will be in the next 25 years. Charlotte mirrors Atlanta in many ways.

Charlotte has grown due to all the Buffalo people moving there. Now that Buffalo is becoming desirable (thanks, Canalside) Charlotte will level off. 2
