I thought we could use a thread to stash all of the stupid statements made by politicians and celebs. This is not limited to Maxine Waters sayings but named in honor after her. Please don't post stupidshit from posters here unless it is so stupid gator would question it. Let me start things off with a wtf gem from Maxine herself:

Bravo 3rd!  This is long overdue and Maxine is very worthy of being the headliner.

Asking folks at the JPL if the Mars Rover would be able to drive over and show the flags the astronauts planted was pretty good.

So was complaining about racism in naming hurricane as the names are "lilly white."

She suggested naming them "Keisha, Jamal and Deshawn."

Celebrating the "victory" in Vietnam and the "two Vietnams,  side by side, North and South."

 

Representative Hank Johnson asking Admiral Willard if he's worried Guam will "tip over and capsize" is the standard to beat.

I have no quota but when someone starts a thread bagging on someone who absolutely deserves it and just happens to be black and someone follows it up with quotes from two others I have a hard time assuming he quoted people that “just happen” to be black.  I’m usually pretty good at putting two and two together. And especially with all the ammo in politics we have to choose from.  Idiocy knows no race.

With your job I'd think you could do better than that. Seriously, there are some pretty stupid things being said by black politicians. It's not that white politicians don't say stupidshit but most black politicians are liberal so they are predisposed to being stupid.
