Uncle Joe Posted March 18, 2018 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Well I just got back from a week’s vacation on the road. Reno, Las Vegas and the final destination - Cactus League Spring Training. I got a chance to watch some games and see the roster changes. Of course, this happens during the start of NFL free agency. So, I thought back to Curt Flood and the start of free agency. I miss the old days when rosters were fairly consistent from year to year. But I also understand unions and the desire to get paid what your worth. Now in the last week the Bill’s roster changes reminded me of the old Abbott and Costello routine. The Bill’s teams of the early 90’s had depth prior to the advent of NFL free agency in 1993.
