SydneyBillsFan Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 I haven't seen a thread on this guy and nothing in the media either. Can anyone here shed some light on what he brings to the Bills?
MrEpsYtown Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 He is a really good special teams player and a depth type guy. He will probably serve as a backup Will. Basically he replaces Ramon Humber. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/03/what_to_know_about_new_buffalo_bills_lb_julian_stanford.html
Jamie Muellers Ghost Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Some similarities to Milano. Small school guy . A guy that seems to be flying under many draft experts radar.

starrymessenger Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Good ST player, good depth, can lay the lumber, good athlete.

His test numbers were off the charts at the combine (back a few years). He's on the small side, but extremely athletic. He's mostly been a special teamer to this point in his career, having come out of a very small school. I don't know that he can't be effective playing an actual linebacker role, however. I think it will be fun to see what happens in preseason.
Inigo Montoya Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 I was listening to NFL radio last night and they had one of the Jet’s beat writers on the show. He said the Bills got a steal on Stanford, said he was a solid linebacker and that team “politics” is what kept him off the field, not ability. He didn’t elaborate. I’m hopeful.
