dave mcbride Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I have been seeing a number of conversations in which people posit this scenario. I would bet most of my possessions that there is not a snowball's chance in hell that a running back -- no matter how good -- is going to go #1 in a draft top-heavy with elite QB prospects. I humbly suggest going forward that we all dispense with the idea that this is a possibility. Dorsey is NOT taking a running back #1 overall. He is not stupid. He is taking a QB (presumably Sam Darnold), and I believe that this will be quite clear long before April 26.

BuffaloRush Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I agree. Dorsey is taking Darnold and that’s a lock. I do believe they wish there was a way for them to come away with Darnold and Barkley.
thebandit27 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I think some folks need to prepare themselves for the idea that Josh Allen is in play at No. 1 overall 1
oldmanfan Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I am astounded with the ability to predict the future we have so many people here vs. the owner's box. You'd surely have made billions in the market by now 1 1
TPS Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 And the Giants will take Rosen, leaving the Jets with Mayfield.
BuffAlone Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 He won't go top 3. In fact, if Cle stays at 4, he may go. If they trade out, Barkley slips past 4. The only way he sniffs top 4 is if Cle stays put with both picks and grab a QB #1

DCOrange Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 It’ll be one of the roommates going #1: Darnold or Allen
