No one knows who the Jets want, or who the Bills want. No one knows if the Jets guy will be there at 3. No one knows if the Bills guy will be there at 2. Or 12.  It’s ok to speculate who you think everyone wants and where these players will go but smokescreens are heavy and every year there are surprised in the draft. Surprise trades, surprise drops, etc. It’s pointless to get upset about anything until after the draft. Even then it’s too early but I get everyone has their “favorite” QB or ideal draft. Just don’t understand the angst with so little info out there.

Because we have a bunch of overreacting ninny's as fans.

A QB is being taken in each of the first 3 picks. This thread is missing that probability.

I think that happens if NYG trade down, probably with BUF... but if NYG stays at 2, why wouldn't they take Barkley?

Rosen is going to go #2.

I honestly don't see this happening. I feel the giants are in win now mode (hence the big contract to solder and trade for ogeltree). Giants only have 5 picks, whether it's the bills or another team, I see them trading back to get more picks.

I do think someone could drop a bit, could be Allen, Rosen or Mayfield and we may be able to get one in that 7-10 range.

100% agree with this.. I feel we will trade up, but maybe not in top 5, but I've been thinking this for awhile.

Because Eli is not looking like he once did. Because, the QB class is on of the best in decades. Because, QB is valued higher than RB. Because, the Giants don't usually pick this high. Etc. Etc. Etc. I say, if the Giants stay at 2 they get Rosen. Jets get Mayfield at 3.

Their qb sucks?

Have to agree with this, I honestly believe the Jets did this trade partly to make the Bills force their hand. If they really do end up taking Allen, you're gonna be able to hear a collective sigh in NYC

I honestly don't think they will. I think they should.... but I think the Giants covet either Nelson or Barkley.

Tannehill? Maybe but unlikely

Doubtful that he'll "start week 1". You don't typically pay someone between $16 and $25MM and have him sitting on the bench.

Trubitsky says hi. He might well have sat the whole year if Glennon had been any good. Mahomes too.

These days you can do that. Garrett got $30 mill at the #1 pick last year. $30 mill over 4 years. That's $7.5 mill per year. You can absolutely sit a guy making that if you think that's in his long-term best interest in becoming an excellent player.

I think most are worried there is a run on QB’s in the first 3 picks. Also this board doesn’t really like Allen, so that’s not a huge deal.

I thought NYJ loved Mayfield a few weeks ago. The trade up initially looked to me like they were jumping Denver for Mayfield. But who knows.

I think that could be the case.

Woody Johnson is a meddling owner and I think he would want Mayfield or Josh Allen. I don't think Rosen's off field stuff is a big deal, but for Johnson it probably is. Donald Trump assigned him as Ambassador to the UK. That's his boy. He and Johnson both live in Bedminster Township, NJ.

This clearly seems owner driven and I think he wants Allen or Mayfield.

Just another player to make my case.
