Just playing scenarios here and still hope we move up to get a qb.  But what if OBD thinks price is too steep to move up to #1 or #2 to get ahead of jets. I dont think its to bad staying at 12 and doing something like this.

12. Edmunds or smith - LB

22. Lamar Jackson - QB

53. James Daniels - C

56. Chirstian Kirk - WR

65. Tim Settle - DT

I would be really happy with this.  Have lamar and aj in camp and battling it out.

Give me Rashaan Evans at 12 and Mason Rudolph at 22. Sit Rudolph down behind McCarron for the next 2 years.

Rudolph is a 2nd round talent at best and Evans is bottom of the 1st round talent.

Here is the Top 11 as I currently see it:

Browns - Sam Darbold

Giants - Saquon Barkley

Jets - Josh Rosen

Browns - Minkah Fitzpatrick

Broncos - Quinten Nelson

Colts - Bradley Chubb

Buccaneers - Denzel Ward

Bears - Trumaine Edmunds

49ers - Derwin James

Raiders - Roquan Smith

Dolphins - Vita Vea

if this scenario plays out I see no real reason to give up draft capital with needs at MLB, OL, WR, CB, to move up higher with Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson available.

I would take Allen or Jackson at 12 and hope Leighton Vander Eshe or Rashean Evans is available at 22

Maybe you should form your own opinions rather than reading what Walter football says.

If we’re staying put at 12, and Darnold, Rosen and mayfield are gone, I’d draft Luke Falk in the 3rd round. We can get quality starters with our first and second round picks. But I’m also a mad man..

Smith and Edmunds are in a league of their own at the LB position and 1 of them will be there at 12.  Evans is a good player don't get me wrong.  There will just be better talent on the board still at 12.  Rudolph is a system qb that is going to need a lot of coaching at the next level.

Rashaan Evans is the best LB in the draft, I don't care where mock drafts have him rated. Mason Rudolph may be a 2nd round prospect as well, but look how much the Jets gave up for #3. That pick is worth 2,200 and the Jets gave up 2,900. They overdrafted the living hell out of whichever QB they draft, so who cares if we draft an early 2nd round prospect at 22? QBs always get overdrafted.

In that scenario I'd rade up to #9 and take Roquon Smith - We give SF #96 and #121, they give us back #184. This ensures we get him before the Raiders at #10. We have our Luke Keuchly. Then I'd use 22 on Jackson or Rudolph. We're still have both 2nds and a 3rd.

Agree with this ?

I believe McCarron is a better bet than Allen, Mayfield, Jackson or Rudolph, so if Rosen and Darnold are out of reach, stay at 12, go to work on the linebackers, WRs and Oline.

One of two things happened with this Jets trade:

1. The Colts valued #6 over anything Buffalo could offer. This probably only makes sense if they badly want Chubb/Barkley still or if they think they'll be able to trade down again from #6 to to get even more assets

2. The Bills didn't want to move up to #3. This would seem to imply that they have a smaller move up in their plans, though I guess the idea of jumping up to #2 can't be completely written off.

In the 2nd round I would hope that we could draft Maurice Hurst at 3 technique DT, nice future replacement for KW and may fall due to health issues at the combine.  With the 2nd pick in the second round I hope the DJ Chark is still available.

I think Buffalo could get 1 of Mayfiled, Allen, or JAckson at 12.  i assume they would flop a sec or third to ensure they get one and move up a few spots.
