I'm an admin at TheBengalsBoard.com.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello, as well as get some general feedback as to how Bills fans felt about Cordy Glenn and Preston Brown.

I also want to offer congrats to you guys for signing AJ McCarron.. He was a class act in Cincy and I'm glad he will be getting an opportunity in Buffalo.

Welcome!

Preston Brown - Nothing special, won't wow you.  But he's durable and consistently decent.

Cordy Glenn - Has pro bowl talent but is not durable and has recently had lots of problems staying on the field.

Cordy is an excellent LT, but he's had trouble staying healthy.

Preston is a decent LB - nothing special, but he'll get the job done.

Thanks for swapping picks with us and for getting us into the playoffs! The Bengals are our new other fav team

Thanks brother. How was Brown in coverage? That's an area where our LB unit has struggled in recent years.

I'm very stoked about adding Glenn from a talent perspective, although I do worry about him staying healthy.

That's not his strength.  Not terrible but not good either.

preston brown isnt flashy but solid.  had a different coordinator every step of the way over his young career and he has adapted.  only looked kind of clueless in the rex ryan disaster.

glenn is a pro bowl left tackle if he is healthy.

Yeah, the trade was one of those instances that seems to make a ton of sense for each team - and hopefully works out very well for both.

That's the area he struggles in. Probably one of the reasons he wasn't offered a big payday here. McDermott had Kuechly and Davis in Carolina, both good in coverage and have speed.

Preston also seemed soft to me. I guess you guys won't have to worry about him imploding and causing unnecessary penalties.  But, also won't be defending his teammates when the time comes.

I've always liked Preston. He's not the fastest guy but he's ok in coverage. Nothing special just a solid lb.

Glenn I've always felt was underrated when healthy. He's a pretty big guy and can move.

Did you respond to Brown in coverage or Glenn staying healthy?

How much of an opportunity do you guys envision McCarron being given here in Buffalo?

Pretty much depends on if the Bills can move up to pick 2 or 3, if they can't, a much bigger opportunity than most Bills fans hoped for...

Had he retaliated the Bills would have gotten 2 flags against them on that play.

Just saying.

The game was over at that point and those flags wouldn't have altered the game in way, shape or form. Point being they constantly use the phrase within the sport "family" when they refer to their team and teammates, well if someone did that to your "family" member are you going to sit there and point? Just saying.

some eyes see him as not retaliating, which is the professional way to handle it. I saw, at the end, him signalling to the ref, in his teammates defense. as I said, just as in words, some want to put things in to their own context to better serve their narrative.

I didn't care so much for Brown in coverage. He always appeared to me to be more of a throwback type of LB.  He is VERY strong and tough to run on.

If Glenn can stay healthy,  you will have a very solid LT. He is huge but he can also move. He isn't Orlando Pace but he is a perfectly fine LT when healthy imo.

I'm curious to see how he performs if he indeed starts the season. Very small sample size so far, with mixed results.

I get it.  I’d have loved  to see someone clobber the Neanderthal Gronk.

My comment was that the relaliator usually gets he flag.
