PirateHookerMD Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) Have not even seen a rumor about a visit outside of the Bucs noise weeks ago. He finding out that his market is not what he thought it was? The more the days go by, the more likely he takes a 1 year 6-7 million dollar buffalo deal to rehab his value. With both Honeybadger and Mo Claiborne getting 1 year 7 million deals, can't see EJ with his injury history getting more. Edited March 17, 2018 by PirateHookerMD
YoloinOhio Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) I think his market was over-estimated but he should find a home soon. Packers need a CB but not sure he’s a great fit with Pettine scheme Edited March 17, 2018 by YoloinOhio
26TrapDraw Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Why can't he stop being a greedy Dick and come back? 1 1
atlbillsfan1975 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I have not seen a comment by the Bills. Have they made Gaines an offer that he declined?

PirateHookerMD Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 We can't forget about Leonard Johnson too. We really need some CB signings in addition to LB.
bigdogtim Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Gaines may wind up a bargain similar to McCarron. Only risk is that the Bills offend him and the bargain gets enjoyed by somebody else.

Gaines also enjoyed maybe his best season last year when he was healthy. If the entire market feels that the injury concern needs to be factored into the equation, Gaines will need to decide where to go on a short term show me deal. Buffalo would make as much sense as anyone else if true.
BuckeyeBill Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 The value of three quality corners should not be underestimated. The Bills have one.

He'll probably end signing a modest 1-year deal somewhere. I think Leonard Johnson is coming back. He knows coach McD and Beane and came to Buffalo partly because of Coach McD. I think they have told him they will resign him later but right now they need the cap room to sign others and then they can do some cash contract moves to fit him.
