I think the biggest hole on the offense has to be WR. With Beane saying - "We're very low on money," Beane said Friday. "We could do some lower-level things, but nothing that's going to hit the ticker."

What is the plan at WR? Zay Jones and who?

I think we'll mostly roll with what we have. I could see us drafting a speedster to run vertical routes. 2019 we can go all in on drafting skill positions. Trust the process.

He also said that he "had no intent on moving up or down in the draft"...

How did THAT work out?

These guys and a QB that throws the GD ball:

13 Benjamin, Kelvin WR 6-5 245 27 4 Florida State
19 Bray, Quan WR 5-10 183 24 3 Auburn
16 Dupre, Malachi WR 6-2 196 22 R LSU
18 Holmes, Andre WR 6-4 210 29 6 Hillsdale
11 Jones, Zay WR 6-2 200 22 R East Carolina
89 Reilly, Brandon WR 6-2 200 24 R Nebraska
  Streater, Rod WR 6-3 200 30 6 Temple

I keep forgetting about Streater. He was a camp MVP last year before his injury. They might feel really good about him so they're focusing on other positions first.

Former first round WR selection Kelvin Benjamin is pretty good....

Was at one point. He has only had two 100 yard games since 2014...

Everyone loves DJ Chark.  As do I, but unless we take him at 12 or 22 or move up in the 2nd rd,  think he’s a pipe dream at this point.  I expect him to be taken early rd 2 if not rd 1.  It’s not his fault the LSU QBs have been trash for years

The market for WR has been very hot, still a few decent players left though.

Possible starting caliber WR's Terrelle Pryor, Jordan Matthews, Mike Wallace, Michael Crabtree

Other notable players on the market- Eric Decker, Bruce Ellington, Brice Butler, Kendall Wright, Jeremy Maclin, Markus Wheaton

Only other trade candidate I think is out there would be Martavis Bryant who I would love to see the Bills pick up as I don't think he has a big cap number and he likely wouldn't cost much draft pick wise.

I thought he also said something about how there will be a 2nd wave of players that become available as they are cut in May/June/July and how he wanted to save some money for that (and for injuries etc).

He also said it will be McCarron and Peterman competing for the starting job.Do you really believe that either?

We aren't done with FA.  There will be low cost additions.  And we could get creative with cap room- especially since the next 3 years we have plenty after purging Dareus, Tyrod, Sammy, Cordy..

Sign Kaepernick and power slam him through a burning table.  Then we'll be done with FA!
