Dr. Fong Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 The only thing this ensures is that KC will be everyeon's pre-season glamor dark horse pick, like they are every year it seems, and they'll simply fail to live up the expectations.
Bflojohn Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Yeah GREAT, now they only need 9 more starters and their work is done!!!!
Mark VI Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 "While going 7-9 last season, Kansas City finished 32nd in pass defense and 31st overall." Those moves should vault them to at least 26 or 27th.
mary owen Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Minnesota............now THEY are loading up on D
Frez Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Minnesota............now THEY are loading up on D 272175[/snapback] Smoot and Winfield at corner.......................nice!
R. Rich Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 The Chiefs have only begun to address their defensive woes. They have much more work to do.

Sammy Knight is junk. The Chiefs D is horrific and adding Knight and the always-injured Kendrell Bell seems a pretty laughable attempt at this point.
R. Rich Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 The fact that they went after Bell was questionable to me because their play at LB over the past couple seasons is one of the main reasons their defense has stunk. If Bell is past his injury problems, and that's a serious if, they may have made a good deal. It just leaves too many questions.
