God, I can't believe the hoody worked Beane so bad.  I'm done with this team.

Earlier today there were reports that the Patriots had made an offer to AJ. Later on the Boston Globe says there was no offer made. Perhaps the Hoody wanted AJ to go to the Bills and pretended he wanted him?

Even if that happened I like the signing. Hope we get a good QB in the draft as well. Go Bills!

For 5mil per year, we got a bargain.

Maybe it was the hoodie who got fooled. AJM knew he had a better chance at starting in Buffalo than in New England. This is AJM's show-me year

Yeah let’s all be serious. This is really serious business! Thought after all these years of bonehead GMs it might be time to laugh a little.

Belicheck didn't want anyone to believe Beane bested him on McCarron and Murphy so he planted the story.

What if McCarron chose Buffalo because he knew he wouldn’t ever see the field in New England? ?

That's probably what happened.  He's pry betting on himself with hopes to get a big contract two years from now.

Hoodwinked into a dirt-cheap starter/bridge who's actually going to throw the football?

-If anybody got hoodwinked it was CLE! -That's me apologizing for TT in advance...

You do realize there are a lot of scouts getting paid lots of money throughout the season scouting and doing research.  The decision to sign a QB for millions of dollars was not based on an unsubstantiated rumor.  Thankfully, we dont have literate monkeys running the team

I'm going to say no..........the fact that they got him at a backup rate for TWO years makes it a super friendly team deal............if AJM plays well in 2018 but the Bills get their Darnold or Rosen and want to start them in 2019 they might be able to trade McCarron for a pretty nice pick.

I suspect the second year was a hard give-up for AJ and his agent.

Agreed.  Can’t believe he would sign for 2 years at that price tag.  Beane is savvy.  He knew that WE had something to offer that no other team in the league had.  A potential starting role.  Beane worked him over good,
