Golden*Wheels Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Ugh. My mama told me, you better shop around. 1
whatdrought Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 I mean, I don't want him as a starter, but he did flash some potential at times.
apuszczalowski Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 (edited) Do the Bills take in in a deal to move up to 5? Then draft Josh Allen so he can sit for a year or 2 to develop? If both 1st could get them to between 3rd and 4th, would both get them Siemian and 5th or a combo of other picks? Edited March 14, 2018 by apuszczalowski
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 I'd rather take Siemian than Moore or Anderson. Not by much, though.
Kmart128 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Im extremely interested. For just a gap starter/mentor who would you rather have... Sam Bradford at 20 million or Trevor Siemien at 1 million. For the role we are asking Trevor makes a ton more sense when you factor in price. 1
DrDawkinstein Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 He was one of the few QBs that Tyrod flat out beat head-to-head. That game last year could have gone either way at the end. Tyrod was able to use his legs to move the chains on 3rd downs and extend the drives. Siemian hung in the pocket and threw it to our team twice. No thank you.
JPP Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Meh.....one man's garbage is other man's????? more garbage?

Don't you have to be good and have experience to be considered a mentor?
Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 He has positives. Started games and has a very low salary. He would be ideal backup.

slaphappy Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 I would do it for a conditional 17th round pick in 2019

Kirby Jackson Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Siemian is not that good but none of these guys are that good!! They all had flaws and still got paid. Give them pick 187 in exchange for Siemian and their 7th. You will have a bridge option and your number 2 QB when the rookie is ready. That is a way better idea than throwing $12M at McCarron. 1

But wouldn't you say that McCarron has more potential? I mean we know what Trevor Siemian is. There's not enough of a sample size for McCarron to be sure. Which in and of itself makes AJ more attractive as a FA.
