Cheaper also.

Looks like he'd count $6M against the 2018 cap for any team that traded for him; in 2019, his cap hit would go up to $8.6M, but his dead cap would be a paltry $1.6M

Do we have the cap room to absorb a 7.6M LB, and still have room to add a vet QB?

I guess it depends on how much we paid Star, but if we had approximately $40M heading into FA and spent 10 on Star, 6 on KW, 2 on Bush, that leaves around $22M. Is that enough to get a QB, sign our picks (guess it depends on how many we ship out), and spend this big at LB?

We've also got other holes to plug on the line and at receiver.

Not necessarily against this move, as I like the player, just wondering out loud if it fits.

Yes, contracts are structured to fit under the cap. Won't be a problem

Foles and Kendricks for 22?

No way are they worth that. This Foles' love blows my mind.  This is Jeff hostleter 2.0.

i do like MK a lot and would welcome him if the price is right.

hostleter was pretty good. I would still draft a 1st round qb though.

I agree we have the room to absorb his cap hit but I would not want to give any picks up for him.  My opinion.  Is this a case if they can't trade him that they would cut him?  If so I would give him a call then.

Kendricks alone wouldn't cost more than a 4th.

That seems more feasible then the 2nd rounder going through my head.  With the trades going down lately it is hard to put a price on any player anymore.  I would do a 4th in a heartbeat.

He has to be cut... They are desperate to get under cap and they just resigned someone. If teams are patient they can just wait until he is cut. Just hope someone doesn't make a dumb move and trade for him
