Ringing endorsement coming from this guy:

I mean...

A bad QB doesn't mean he's a bad evaluator

Just like a good QB doesn't mean he's a good evaluator

AJ could be great

He could be Rob Johnson 2.0

I have zero input on AJ, I truly haven't watched enough of him to make a guess

AJ has always longed to be Brady’s backup. Sounds like a blast.

And Katherine Webb can backup Gisele.   Sounds like a perfect match...

No way Peterman's stats match McCarron's, sample size small for each but McCarron was realitively successful in his starts.

McCarron PASSING:

TOTAL 11 games 64.7 pass comp. 920 yards 6.9 avg/pass 93.6 QB rating 6 TD 2 INT

Peterman PASSING:

TOTAL 4 games 49.0 pass comp. 252 yards 5.1 avg/pass 38.4 QB rating  2 TD 5 INT

This only tells us that there is a big difference in talent in 3-4 game period. Most of McCarron's yards came from 3 games started and a 2-1 record. We traded for Rob Johnson with less information. This is also more NFL information we have from any QB in the draft.

Sign McCarron and let him compete with Peterman and anyone we draft. Let the best man win!

Exactly, that's why Tucker responded by saying we were getting him for peanuts. He has zero leverage.

Sure he does.  QBs go down in training camp and he could bet on that.

He's not going to wait that long before signing a deal.
