Too high? Seems decent to me.

Have you looked at QB salaries lately? $10 million is like last in the NFL for non rookie starters.

I started a thread about the high cost of QBs.

I'm saying I never would of thought that for McCown.

The Jets had him signed for 6 million last year!

Crap. McCown was my preferred bridge QB.

Jets will definitely draft a QB and maybe even move up to do so. HOPEFULLY, they stay at 6, and take Jackson or Mayfield.... while the Bills move to 3 or 4 to take Rosen.

Would like for this to be true as far as the trade piece, but I doubt McCarron goes somewhere that looks like they are going to draft a QB high this year.

thing is,  McCarron is running out of places that need a starting QB.

Costs keep going up! He had comparable numbers to Taylor, who is getting paid $16 million.

Where is he going to go then? If not Buffalo, he has almost no chance of competing for a starting job.

Well, we're running out of bridge quarterbacks.

Good, maybe we'll get a regular starting QB

Could probably compete in ARI, BUF, CLE, JAX, MIA, and NYJ.

Jacksonville just signed Bortles to a big extension. Arizona just signed Bradford for $20 million per year. Cleveland has Tyrod and whatever rookie they draft. Miami is paying Tannehill. Jets have McCown and whatever rookie they draft. None of those teams will offer him starting money or a legitimate chance at the starting job.

That's what I was thinking. I think he'll jump at any chance if he thinks he'll start the season.
