They'll really stretch the field with Cooks and Nelson. Should leave plenty of space for Gronk to work if he comes back.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Is Nelson really that good? Or is he just a solid receiver who is a product of Rodgers? I’m not sure how much he could contribute here.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 I would love to get Nelson. Maybe Hyde can do some recruiting.
Hurricane Marv Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 (edited) Any credible reason to believe that NE will sign him or is this just being assumed due to the obvious? He's a different WR than Amendola/Welker/Edelman which I assume is fueling this. Edited March 13, 2018 by Hurricane Marv

He fits "what they do." he was a really good wr but he looked done last year. He has very underrated speed but the injuries have taken a toll. Obviously, I'd be fine with kicking the tires on him but he's not the same Jordy. He would be worth it for the leadership alone though. 1 hour ago, Hapless Bills Fan said: I am a big Jordy Nelson fan. Depends on what he wants I suppose, and whether one feels his play suffered from Hundley (I would say, yes) 2018 comp was $10.25M under his current contract. I thought it was Hundley too but he wasn't ripping it up with Rodger either. He wasn't getting the separation like he used to. 9 minutes ago, Brianmoorman4jesus said: I would love to get Nelson. Maybe so, the speed on the market is drying up. I wouldn’t hate something like Snead and Deonte Thompson. Snead can be a productive 2 and Thompson can offer speed.

The 11 man boxes will do wonders for the running game.
Chicken Boo Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Surprised at some of these responses. You guys thought Sammy Watkins was injury prone...
akm0404 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 lol "get him" He gets to pick from any team in the NFL. There are 31 other teams. It ain't gonna happen friends, and that is ok.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 I would kill for Jordy to sign here. Seriously
akm0404 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 (edited) You probably would have to, honestly. Or at the very least, credibly threaten to. Edited March 13, 2018 by akm0404

Anyplace he goes to, he's gonna be at best 2nd target if not 4th. Here he'd be the man for his last go-round in the NFL. There's a lot to be said for being the biggest fish even if it's a small pond.

I understand your argument, but having Nathan Peterman and Joe Webb as the only two rostered quarterbacks keeps the Bills firmly on the no-go list with Jordy's agent. I'm willing to be surprised.

Iamkrgr Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Until a QB is in place i don't see any good WR signing here. Similar to how Chicago is doing this year. Our time to get a stud WR could come next year when we draft our own high level QB prospect this year.
Blokestradamus Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 I'd rather not sign the ghost of Jordy Nelson. The man has sod all left after his ACL tear.
