Clearly the WR FA market is overheated with the absurd deals for Robinson and Watkins. I am wondering what is happening on the Deonte Thompson front. Why havent we signed him yet? The guy bailed us out and was a difference maker in at least 2 wins last season. Not to mention his great play in the loss to the Pats.

He’s a 2nd - 3rd tier FA. Those guys wait for the market to be established and then get signed.

@HappyDays says he's just as good as Watkins, so he should have been signed to a big money, multi-year deal by now.

I'd love to bring him back on a small 1 or 2 yr deal, maybe $3M in total. He made some plays, but I think ideally he's your #4 at best, behind Benjamin, Jones, and whoever they bring in.

I said that? This is news to me. Maybe you're referring to the post where I said Sammy got the same YPG as Deonte Thompson despite being more talented.

No rush. Perhaps the Bills have their sights set on other FA options???

I like what he brings, but he isn't a game breaker, nor a bank breaker. If some team wants to pay more than market value, let them.
