So far there are three low tender RFAs that i would love with Bills and would not require compensation back in form of Pick.

Cam Merrdith, WR Bears

Bryce Calahan, NB Bears (top inside young CB)

Willie Snead,WR Saints

I don't know Calahan but the 2 WRs are good

I like your thinking!

Willie Snead is a possession/slot WR, just like the 2 WRs we currently have. He is the opposite of what we need, we need a down-field threat. It's like you guys just jump on names you've heard of, without knowing what they can do.

Meredith maybe could be a fit, but is coming off a major injury, and not worth giving anything up.

Snead's okay, but I wouldn't recommend him.  He's a viable NFL receiver, but I don't know that he's any better than Deonte Thompson.  If Thompson had had Brees as his QB his whole career, his numbers would be a lot more impressive.

Don't know enough about the other 2 to have an opinion.

Hence RFA low tender requires no compensation back for him

The tender is worth $1.907 million. Because Snead entered the league as an undrafted free agent, the Saints will not get any compensation if they decline to match an offer sheet.

So is "right to first refusal" essentially just saying they have the right to match?

Snead is nice.

I would love for the Bills to steal him.

Snead would absolutely be worth chasing. I think that the Bills should keep e plotting trades as well.

He has great blocking skills..be good for shady when he goes off tackle..

I really like Snead regardless of last year. Snead and Okafor are the 2 Saints that I would take a shot at.

So I took Snead in a late round of one my fantasy drafts last year and thought to myself "damn, I just stole one!"  Then he was suspended, and didn't produce much of anything all year.

With that being said...  Why the hell haven't we tendered him an offer? Wouldn't cost too much, not a high risk, and fills a need.

I wondered that too but with this Meredith , the Bears are saying they had serious concerns about his reconstructed knee.
