You've watched him closely?  Do you imagine that the Bills front office and personnel folks haven't gotten around yet to watching his film?  Or, is it possible that perhaps they do not share your evaluation?

Pure speculation!

5 years 50 or so million.

Anything less than that and I'll be doing cartwheels.

That's half what we paid Dareus and we'll probably get twice the production.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo

Not crazy about it either... Star's an OK run-stuffer, but that's about it... Da'ron Payne could be that A. Donald-type pocket collapsing force up the middle.. Hope we don't blow an opportunity to get younger, and stronger at DT in this draft.

Because they are getting their QB. That is what matters this draft.

Good piece, but this is why the grading system is flawed, especially for qbs:

The greatness of Rodgers’ performance last night was in the intangibles. Recognizing the blitz, drawing the defense offsides, catching the Chiefs in bad situations and exploiting those scenarios with simple passes to open receivers. But you cannot — and we do not try to — quantify intangibles, or what comes pre-snap. Our system grades what can be graded — the execution of the play post-snap — and in that regard Rodgers did not stand out in the same way that his statistics did.

Making a play and throwing a TD are each a very large tangible.

Interesting standard- according to that 95% of the players in the league are “very very poor”

I know what a run stuffer is and does, I played football since I was young to my college years. I'm just stating that he isn't even graded well against thew run, if you find somewhere that he's a good run stuffing DT than post it for all to see but you won't, nowhere on here does it state he is good and holding the point of attack.

Have you?

Dude, he's been well known in his career (since college) to be great against the run. And he can absolutely maul people and eat up double teams. He is a powerhouse. He is excellent at holding the point of attack.
