My impression of him is he's a 3-4 OLB. What role could he play here? Maybe take over for Alexander?

He’s a pure pass rusher which the Bills sorely need, and would come on a cheap deal I would think at his age. He would be used in rush packages. I still think they need to draft a pass rusher too... on the FA market, young pass rushers are super expensive. McD seems to like experienced players to mix with young guys.

Has he played end in a 4-3 before?

Wouldn't need to if he's going to be used as a subpackage player only.  I just don't think he has anything left worth looking into.

Honestly I’m not sure how much 3-4 or 4-3 matters anymore with these types of players. Almost every play is a sub- package ... base packages are minimal

34 and coming off a serious injury. Eh.

He very well could be done, but if he’s healthy and has anything left he’s the type of player McD has shown interest in having around the past.

I think it would come down to what he'll look for money wise. I can't see them dropping a lot on him at this point. If his market's cold and he doesn't want an exorbitant amount...then I agree he would seem like a McDermott guy. Wonder if he can get any inside info on him from Mentor Andy.

Hasn't had more than seven sacks in a season since 2013.  If we are going the old/injured route I'd much prefer they make an offer to Julius Peppers.  I think you can get as much production out of Lorenzo Alexander at Defensive End in 2018 as you could Hali, and Zo is already on the roster.
