YoloinOhio Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) This seems like the type of signing McD would like Edited March 12, 2018 by YoloinOhio 1
HappyDays Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 My impression of him is he's a 3-4 OLB. What role could he play here? Maybe take over for Alexander?
NewEraBills Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Mehhhh, haven't heard anything from Hali in years except for Twitter beefs. He's done IMO.

He’s a pure pass rusher which the Bills sorely need, and would come on a cheap deal I would think at his age. He would be used in rush packages. I still think they need to draft a pass rusher too... on the FA market, young pass rushers are super expensive. McD seems to like experienced players to mix with young guys. 1

SouthNYfan Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Sign him up. I don't care if he's only got 70% in the tank Go get him
JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 fwiw After the announced switch to the 3-4, Tamba Hali was the player most worried about in dealing with the switch of positions. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/236059-the-new-look-for-tamba-hali-and-kansas-city-chiefs (2009) 1 1
MrEpsYtown Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 He should go to the Texans to reunite with Romeo Crennel. He had some great years for him. Plus he's a PSU guy.

I think it would come down to what he'll look for money wise. I can't see them dropping a lot on him at this point. If his market's cold and he doesn't want an exorbitant amount...then I agree he would seem like a McDermott guy. Wonder if he can get any inside info on him from Mentor Andy.
thenorthremembers Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Hasn't had more than seven sacks in a season since 2013. If we are going the old/injured route I'd much prefer they make an offer to Julius Peppers. I think you can get as much production out of Lorenzo Alexander at Defensive End in 2018 as you could Hali, and Zo is already on the roster.
