I hope this means Gaines isn’t seeing the market he thought he would.

If he’s under 8 mil, lock him up. Give him incentives to cover ourself from injury but pays him if he’s healthy.

We were so much better with him on the field

Was just searching to see if he signed. They need another CB.

Most likely.  Same for Preston Brown.

DeShawn Shead has some deal with Seattle where they have to allow him to be a UFA so he's reportedly going to be released and Seattle hopes to get him back................Bills were after him last offseason.

Since the lions signed him, EJ would be good to have back.

Yeah I posted that on 3/10........Shead got a bit more than I thought........$3.5M base only a bit more than I thought.........but incentives up to $6.5M is surprising to me.

I assume you knew, and I assume EJ must be the best reasonable option left?

I can't find any update.  Nor on Brown.  Not getting offered what they feel they deserve I guess.

Packers are pretty desperate for a DB.  I don't think EJ is a good fit for Pettine's D, but the pickings are pretty slim.

Yes he would, but I don’t think the personality or dollars fit.

25.7 mil ...per Over the Cap

edit: I just looked at the salary cap thread and I don’t know if all the new contracts have been added in. But, the cap is fluid and teams can always fit contracts in if they want to.

Seems like they have a little more space for a decent mid-level signing.
