Terrible deal for Panthers. Worley would have been a nice pick up.

Disagree. The Panthers need outside speed for their passing game and Smith gives them that.

Cmon McBean our turn for a big trade. Get up and trade with  the Giants for #2 overall.

This is really the only trade I care about at this point!

Hearing that is may actually be Darby who's on the block/bubble.

I heard the same thing from my buddy who is an Eagles fan. It would be funny if both high profile players we traded last year ended up going elsewhere. That's really good work by McBeane.

Not a DB, but I'm thinking Brent Celek may be next on the block (or meet the Turk), purely from a cap vs production standpoint

He doesn't have to be. He's still an effective outside downfield threat.

That's beyond the point. You gave up a starting 23 year old CB who was a 3rd round pick, and one of the best running stopping CB in the game. Rumor has it, Smith was going to be cut anyways.

Excellent work by the Eagles. They are heavily cap strapped, and were likely going to cut him anyway. Getting anything for him would have been nice.

The curious thing is that the Eagles secondary was already looking stacked between Darby, Mills, and Sidney Jones working back from his Achilles.
