eball Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 ..."rocky top" after TDs and FGs this season. it's pretty amazing when you think about it. nearly 10% of the roster from one college. travis henry trey teague rashad baker jabari greer constantin ritzmann and how crazy is it for three college teammates to go directly to the same NFL team together? that has to be unprecedented. and i bet it's never happened before either. i've gotta say that i give the bills' coaches and organization credit for keeping rookies who clearly outplayed the "experienced" players brought in as free agents. it's got to be a hit to donahoe's ego to discard draft picks and keep rookie FAs, but it's more evidence that TD is not the egomaniac some would paint him to be. no, all of his decisions are not correct; but he is clearly willing to admit his mistakes and move forward.
CajunBillsBacker Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 The Pats have 5 former LSU Tigers, 4 of them were teammates at one point. They are making it very hard for me to hate those bastards!!
stuckincincy Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Looks like the Bill's love affair with OSU is waning...
Guest Answer Man Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 When Butler left many of his scouts wanted to leave but couldn't for they had one more year left on contract. After that year many left and Bills added some scouts who worked for Steeler organization. This may account for differences in what schools Bills look at.
Steven in MD Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 I think Butlers men looked at TN plenty....remember guys like Peerless Price and Shawn Bryson came from TN.
Griz Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 that has to be unprecedented. and i bet it's never happened before either.
