What makes you think Austin is a good football player? That contract was terrible the day it was written and they have been waiting to get out from under that mistake.
boyst Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Never got it with him. Not that impressed. Seems good as #3 or 4 guy. That's all I'd want him as.
Zac Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 To see a small burner type like that have such a low YPC is concerning

I'm not paying him a lot, but I would give it shot, sometimes a fresh start is what is needed, besides it's Dabol who made Brady great should be a snap 1
Bing Bong Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 he's the type of wr Tyrod likes. Why throw him open when you can throw it to him while he's open. (looking at you Kelvin, get some separation sometime soon)
LABILLBACKER Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 the moral of the story is done waste a 1st round pick on a wr. I don't care how tall, fast or catch worthy they are.
Augie Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 He’s no CJ Spiller! Moral of the story? Don’t take gadget guys too high.
ghostwriter Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I wouldn't take on that contract and I would be surprised if any team would, but if he was cut, absolutely we should be interested, he can play in the slot, he can take snaps at RB. Benjamin, Zay and Austin would be solid.

I can't imagine any team taking on his salary. I remember the day I heard about his current deal and was shocked at what the Rams coughed up. He'll most likely have to be released, to me he's a luxury item. I'd take him on my team but not for any major money.
Teddy KGB Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 What’s the ted ginn jr story. Rather make a run at him.

Misterbluesky Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Let's get a gun slinging qb and have a run and shoot offense like West Virginia and the old Houston Oilers had.Geno!!!
WideRightRevenge Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Got to admit it ... I remember his senior year game against Oklahoma ... was one of the most incredible single game college performances I ever saw .. thought he was going to be good in the NFL ... just a size thing I guess at the end of the day .. but he lit up OK .. check out those stats Player School Att Yds Avg TD Rec Yds Avg TD Plays Yds Avg TD Tavon Austin West Virginia 21 344 16.4 2 4 82 20.5 0 25 426 17.0 2

John from Riverside Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Hemet is in the rear view mirror after over 17 years of ugly commute....raising two children....and putting up with a ungrateful signicant other...... I might be living in a one bedroom card board box at the moment.......but its all good
