B-Man Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Here's what I like to remember with Jim................. Standing ovation for Jim Kelly - NFL Videos - NFL.com 1
Worstcaseontario Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 God needs a Qb for his team, hopefully he ll have to wait a few decades! 1
LABILLBACKER Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Heartbreaking, devastating news. I'm so pissed. The good Lord can give us all this intelligence and technology, yet it still seems we're making no strides with this f****** disease. We all love this man so much. Keep praying and never stop!
Niagara Bill Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Cannot even comprehend the challenges Jim and family have faced. I know he and Jill and family are tough, and have turned all the dark times into a positive for many....but another challenge of this type...wow. I know three things for sure...... 1) as a fan Jim is the greatest leader the Bills and perhaps the community has ever had 2) as a person I will ensure I will send as much positive energy, love and prayers as I can to Jim and his family 3) If there is anyone in the world who can take this incredible terrible news and make the world a better place as a result it is Jim and Jill and their family. Prayers and love
Murdox Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Absolutely hate to hear this news after what Jim has been through. May he overcome this quickly.
Nuncha Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 God bless him and his family. They have been through so much. Get well soon #12.

KD in CA Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Ugh....that's terrible. Cancer coming back is even worse than the first discovery.
Maybe Someday Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Absolutely hate to hear this. Jim - Be stronger than you've ever had to be. The 1st time was tough, this time will be even tougher. YOU CAN BEAT IT AGAIN!!!!! We're all with you. Sending nothing but love and prayers to you and your family.

This may be a dumb question but has Kelly disclosed any risk factors which may have contributed to him getting cancer? Not sure if it was tobacco use like dipping or chewing. Obviously you never know for sure with cancer
ghostwriter Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I really admire the faith Jim has in the Lord, when I feel like I'm alone and I have no one, I remember that I can lean on the Lord.

Obviously you never know for sure with cancer ....don't believe so....but if that was the initial cause at diagnosis, I doubt he would go back to the habit to now have it recur.....besides, there are lung cancer cases attributed to smoking as well as lung cancer cases in people who have NEVER smoked.....cancer knows no bounds.......... TheElectricCompany Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 (edited) Ugh. Man can't catch a break. He's got a really tough road ahead. !@#$ cancer. Edited March 1, 2018 by TheElectricCompany
ChevyVanMiller Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 So sad to hear, here's wishing #12 all the best and may his future be cancer free. PS- Maybe the OP can find some gentler words for the thread title.
