Remember, something changed since that benching: McDermott fired the OC who asked for Tyrod to be benched.

And so it goes... we console ourselves that what we want to happen actually will happen as we completely dismiss the words that come out of their mouths.

Listen to McD and Beane about TT and the QB position. Compare that to what they say about other positions and or players IE McCoy.

That says l you need to know he will not be on this team the start of the 2018 season. Heck he has more endorsements of Peterman.

Beane's presser was pretty good.

I got a better feel on how he does business.

I'm liking him more and more.

The Buffalo Bills top two people in the organization went through and made the media rounds on Wednesday, the first day of the NFL Combine, and Joe Buscaglia and Matthew Fairburn of NYUpstate.com recap some of the most interesting tidbits from the day -- mainly having to do with the quarterback position.

From the JMS on Wednesday:

Bills general manager Brandon Beane told the team's radio program Wednesday that new director of analytics Luis Guilamo helped develop the Bills' player scouting system "from scratch" last year as a consultant. Buffalo then hired Guilamo away from his consulting firm this offseason full-time to be a "100 percent football analytics guy," with Beane using the example of organizing data for height and arm size. "That way, if you get a guy who is 6-3 and his arm length is this, you say, ‘Get me how many left tackles have played in this league that were only 6-3 and had 31.5-inch arms.'"

Bills general manager Brandon Beane told the team's radio program Wednesday that Buffalo is "definitely are focused on the quarterback" at the combine. "We spent a lot of time in the fall looking at those. You're always trying to make sure -- it's a quarterback league -- that you got the guy that you know. We're happy with where Tyrod [Taylor] and Nathan [Peterman] are, but like any position, you're always looking to see if there are better options out there."
