I'll second this one, one of the best candy bars out there period.

I love Coffee Crisps, but that isn't Canadian.

Like most candy WNYers associate with Canada, it is British.

How about Mr. Big bars?  (Love 'em!)

Or Mackintosh's toffee!  My favorite!

You’re both correct and wrong.  They originated in GB but are now made in Canada and the rights are owned by Nestle Canada.

Every summer we go to Canada for a fishing trip. While there, we get a few packages of breakfast sausage for our breakfasts at fishing camp. They are pork, veal, super mild,  natural casing, and when you fry them a few minutes and then put them in the oven for awhile, they come out snapping, hot and soooo freaking good (especially with eggs, toast or with the pancakes we make with our pure syrup). It fills your belly before fishing all day. Easily my favorite food in Canada and I can’t find them anywhere in the States.

Is Mrs. BBF traumatized by the sight of these little weenies?  Are they visible reminders of the “size” of her wretched sex life with you?

Sadly, we all know you speak the truth.  The poor thing is gullible and not so smart.  She married you, enough said.

When my wife says that the latest snowstorm dropped six to eight inches of snow, I know it must really be three or four inches.

I haven't been to Canada in years but one thing I remember was that Canadian hamburgers (not fast food McDonalds type burgers) tasted better. They had a slightly different flavor, maybe fewer hormones in the meat or what their cattle are fed.

Beer is a food, it has hops, wheat, barley

Sure but I can buy them in Canada, not in the USA.

Poutine is one that comes to mind.

Barberian's on Elm St. in Toronto makes some of the best steaks I've ever had but obviously that's not a native Canadian food. Anyone else ever been there?

Yes!  great place.  the wife and i went there when we went up to Phantom many moons ago . . .

Actually, there are British and Canadian versions of Aero bars, coffee crisp, Smarties etc, but the chocolate in the Canadian version taste much better in my opinion.  I can get the British versions in some Supermarkets in ATL, but I have to get the Canadian versions when I head up to Bflo to visit. I agree re: Mackintosh.

I really like the Maple Sugar candies I used to get in Canada. :)

Brador

In high school we thought that was the cat’s ass...ask a buddy’s older brother to cross the border and buy us a case or two of Brador. Alcohol content of 6 or 7%. We thought that was great.  Nowadays there’s beers with 9.25% I hear. Crazy.
