How could people not know?  It's even the same actor (ever notice that the Emperor sounds exactly the same in Jedi as the Senator does in I, II, and III?)

i know this and you know this, but lots of folks from the general non-nerd population don't... i'm serious... a lot of folks just don't know, and they've watched all the movies

Grievous will be the best character in this thing. If Darth Maul had been around for the Epis. II it would have been at least 50% better.

I am not a geek.

Darth Maul carried Ep.I big time........when I go back and skip through that film, his scenes are the ones I watch.

He didn't have many scenes, other than the lightsaber duel at the end and a few other appearances here and there. You may as well not even watch it, then.

True, he wasn't in it nearly enough.......but I love to watch from the chapter entitled 'Duel of the Fates' onward to the end of the film. The scene where Maul jumps off his speeder and attacks them as they are getting on board the ship is pretty damn cool, too. As for revisiting the whole 'midichorians' explanation and stuff like that, I usually pass.

Yeah, those scenes were pretty cool. Ray Park is one heck of a fighter. He did fight scenes for X-Men (Toad) and Sleepy Hollow (Headless Horseman) as well. He's supposed to star in the movie version of the comic book Iron Fist, but I haven't heard much about where they're at in the development of it lately.

The lightsabre fight was the best part of the first one. The pod race was good too. They could have used much more of Darth Maul. It was criminal that he was killed and Jar Jar lived on.

This one looks like the movie that we were all waiting for. The space battle looks spectacular.

I happened to stumble onto the trailer between Survivor and the Apprentice and all I can say is WOW! I liked certain elements of Eps I & II (Duel of the Fates in I and the clone/robot battle in II) so Ep III looks to be spectacular with the space battle and Anakin leading the clones against the Jedi. Plus the emergence of Darth Vader should be cool.

Of course to many in this instance cool = dork

****SPOILER****

I saw a bunch of stills from the movie. The one of Anakin after he gets pulled out of the lava is good. He's all burned up and a mess.

Spoiler tips:

Generally, the best way to post spoilers is to do the following:

1. Type SPOILER: on a line, then put some asterisks at the top of the next line

2. Under the "color" dropdown box, select anything. You'll see something like: COLOR=blue (with brackets around it)

3. Change the color to white (ie: COLOR=white)

4. Type in your spoiler.

5. Click on the "Close all Tags" link (to the right of the Color dropdown box).

That way someone has to actually highlight the area to see the spoiler and won't accidentally read it. This is great advice for the various LOST threads as well. So it would end up looking like:

SPOILER:

***This is my spoiler. Had this been a real spoiler, you wouldn't have seen it unless you really really wanted to. This is only a test.

Thank you.

EDIT: Hmmm, didn't realize that posts alternate between white and grey... I guess you may have to keep that in mind when posting spoilers as well... Although all white is still tough to read on a gray background without highlighting.

Unless you're colorblind, like me. I didn't have any trouble picking it out. Now if you'd have made it red on a green background...

I had the show Tivo'd in one room and taped in another room just to be on the safe side. Fortunately I got it all on Tivo.

Oh man, what an awesome trailer. This movie is going to rock. Palpatine looks ferocious, I can not wait to see his lightsaber fighting.

Rumor is out that this could be the first Star Wars with a PG-13 rating.

Did anyone see General Grievous in the trailer? I did'nt.

I totally geeked out at the end of the trailer when they showed Vader & Palpatine standing side-by-side!!!

If anyone is trying to find it online, StarWars.com will have it online by Monday.

R.Rich, regarding Ray Park and Iron Fist, that movie has been pushed back to the talking stages. So don't expect it anytime soon.

Did any of you see the tv spot they had for "Sin City" last night also? That was about half way through the O.C. Looks great.

I can not wait until May.

The whole world doesn't revolve around you AD

I guess the key is to make sure you post your spoilers on a WHITE background, not the grey one... Unless there's a way to change the background color as well, but I don't see an option for that (unless it's hidden...)

I may be wrong, but I think he was in there for a blink of an eye on two occasions: First, there is a scene where what looks like Grievous has a cape over his right shoulder and he's in the process of walking forward. The second is a very quick clip that looks like Obi Wan fighting him. I'm not positive, but I"m pretty sure it was him.
