Captain Murica Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Awful a lot of money for a guy that averages 8.8 ypc 3
YoloinOhio Posted February 21, 2018 Author Posted February 21, 2018 I assume they will try to work out a long term deal to get that cap # down. But it seems like Gase hates him.

BuffaloRush Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 IMO this was not the best move from a cap standpoint. Landry is a great WR but I don’t think his value is close to $16 M. It’s going to hurt what they can do on the FA market. I also feel that Landry wants out of Miami which probably happens in 2019. Anyone else think NE might take a shot at bringing him in? Glad that didn’t happen
Beast Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Good. And the chances of him suffering a career ending injury in. Fish uniform just grew. 1

I thought that he may end up in New Orleans. 1
K D Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I hope that money is guaranteed. It would be a shame if he got cracked in the face and his career was ended early
Doc Brown Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I was hoping to get him out of our division as he ended A. Williams career with that cheap shot and is a good WR. I don't know if he's worth 16 million, but he pry would of gotten that in free agency.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I'd rather see him out of the division, but the Phins screwing themselves is a decent consolation prize 2

ExWNYer Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 It's nice to see a division rival do something stupid. Next up are the Jest with an attempted gross over payment of Kirk Cousins.
BillsFan4 Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Wow to that Chris Trapasso tweet. 35% of their cap used on 3 players is pretty crazy, especially when you look at the 3 players in question. 1
Doc Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 According to Spotrac the Dols were just $7.4M under the cap. Did they release someone or do some thing else in order to be able to franchise Landry? And if no LT deal is coming, that's going to severely hamstring them in FA. If I were Landry, I'd sign that tender ASAP.
ColoradoBills Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Fish are already in cap trouble...................some have said they can cut/trade Tannehill and draft a QB. http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachpost.com/2018/02/20/2018-nfl-draft-qb-mason-rudolph-intriguing-miami-dolphins-fit/

Doc Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 They can cut starting RT Ju'Waun James and save over $9M with no dead cap.
