Fadingpain Posted February 15, 2018 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Where are these type of waves to be found? Hawaii? I live in Palm Beach, FL and see surfers almost every day at the beach. The waves never get more than like 3 feet high if you are lucky and the whole thing just looks like a lot of work for very little fun and not much of a ride. And we are on the ocean coast where the waves are better than on the Gulf coast. Then you see videos of this monster stuff from like the Banzai Pipeline or whatever and I'm always thinking "Now THIS is what surfing is about!" Waves like that can easily kill you, brake your surfboard in half, or pin you under the water with tons of pressure for like 30 seconds or more....
