I can’t believe it took Marv 4 years to fire Walt Corey as DC.  He should have been gone after the SB26z. Instead Marv waited 3 more full seasons to pull the plug.  Wade care in and took the defense to #1

Bill Polian had his ways and he deserves credit because the scoreboard shows he built some very good teams.............but he should have won 5-6 SB's with those Bills and Colts teams.    He was just stubborn.  Jeff Wright, Mark Kelso and Marv's crappy defensive coaches.     I remember being totally shocked that the Cowboys were able to acquire Charles Haley when Polian's Bills were badly in need of a badass like that to get them over the hump.

John Butler had a much better feel.......he brought in pieces to that defense and the coaching staff that Polian refused too.  Unfortunately for Butler by the time he got the reigns the core of the offense was aging out.

Polian did the same stuff in Indy.  Great builder.......poor finisher.
