T-Bomb Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 That could have been him last night celebrating if McBeane would have let him go back to Philly in the Darby trade. Probably the closest he'll ever come to a SB victory. Man, Chip Kelly really screwed him. 1
Beast Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Yeah. We should have traded them Tre White, Poyer and Hyde while we were at it....you know, just so they had a chance to win a Super Bowl. Good thread, mate. 1 2
KollegeStudnet Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 I bet he's stoked and wants the Bills to win the SB. 2
Buffalo_Gal Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 I felt bad for Shady last night. But, it is just a year's delay seeing how he'll get a ring with the Bills in Atlanta next February. 1
The BLUES Brothers Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 He probably does have some resentment but would also believe he appreciates that the Bills Brass believes in him and we pay him really well - higher than other teams pay their #1 RB so he has to feel respected and that goes a long way too
KW95 - JA17 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Im not sure how Shady feels, But Im sure his SB party include special guests...only women! 1
Another Fan Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Very good question. i think he genuinely does like Buffalo but does feel a little bit of emptiness

Guys like Maclin, Jackson that were shipped off by Kelly. It's got to sting a bit. Hopefully Shady uses it as motivation next year to get one of his own with Buffalo.

Probably the closest he'll ever come to a SB victory. Man, Chip Kelly really screwed him. Shady fought the law in Philly and the law won. If he wanted to stay there he should have done what he was being asked to do..........he was stubborn and blew it. Chip Kelly wanted him to be decisive and take the inside running lanes where he had a big advantage taking on LB's in space..... but Shady wanted to keep trying to dance and then outrun the increasingly faster LB's to the sideline. Shady made that adjustment after his first year as a Bill when MG and Karlos were proving that the yards and TD's were to be had between the tackles. Good on him for maturing but if he had just been the 2016-2017 version of McCoy the Chip Kelly wouldn't have traded the 2014 McCoy. Funny tho that he was just taking shots at Kelly and then the Eagles dipped heavily into Kelly's Nick Foles-playbook to win their SB. Edited February 5, 2018 by BADOLBILZ

Pirate Angel Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Im curious as to what a 31 year old RB would garnish on the trade block. He is a very good 31 year old back but 31 nonetheless.

Marv's Neighbor Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 The Eagles team yesterday was not the one that Shady had left. Many changes from the HC, on down.
eball Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 I think we know exactly how Shady feels. Happy for his former team (now that "the little guy" is gone), and happy to be a Bill.

dabills21 Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Well everyone leaves out the simple fact that their roster would be completely different when paying a RB top dollar.... not so sure they'd have the cap to sign everyone they did this past offseason
