I admit, I posted that just based on the fact that Philly is ranked as one of the most violent cities in the country, as is St Louis, and I know what a "day in the life" here is like. Here's some data:https://www.phillypolice.com/crime-maps-stats/ I think what we're talking about is "aggravated assault/other" Now I can't tell you about the assault on the officer bit, but just randomly picking the last report of 2017, it shows 90 of those aggravated assault/other things one week, and 66 the next week. That would be either 13 per day or 9 per day. Just surfing through a few more weekly reports, doesn't seem to be an outlier. Show me where I'm wrong

That year, the 76’s won the NBA Title, Phillies won the WS, Flyers won the Stanley Cup and the USFL Philly Stars won the League Championship. The city burned down on each event. It’s what they do.
