CowgirlsFan Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Interesting! As a resident of the TCU area, him being injured was a well kept secret.
fridge Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I know there are a lot a real big tough internet men on here, but these quotes are not to be overlooked: In 2010, then-team physician Samuel Haraldson told American Medical News that he was “verbally accosted” by Patterson after he refused to allow running back Ed Wesley to re-enter a game against SMU after he sustained a head injury that Haraldson diagnosed as a concussion. Listenbee asserts that the “injection of steroids and pain medication, lack of rest due to harassment and abuse from the coaching staff, and strenuous play of football caused” damage to his pelvic cartilage to the point where a metal plate had to be inserted to fuse the bones. The lawsuit claims this ended Listenbee’s chances at the “NFL career he would have had.” This coach screamed at a team doctor to force a concussed player in the game. He sounds like a psycho. Some of these college coaches act like divine royalty. 5
Saint Doug Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Well, we certainly didn’t force him on the field!

Oh, come on - these coaches are only paid millions of dollars to make sure these concussed, unpaid student-athletes get back out on the field and put their injured bodies on the line and win that meaningless crucial college football game game so that rich boosters can have bragging rights over their rich buddies who graduated from other colleges 30 years ago. Man up, pansies! This is important! 1 1

Mr. WEO Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 He was only drafted because he continued to play... Also, it's interesting that he claimed it was a "sports hernia" at the end of the senior year.

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 What I find interesting about the lawsuit, is if he hadn’t played, he may have never even sniffed the nfl, much less stuck with a squad. So if he wins, how do you monetize the impact to him?
RaoulDuke79 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I remember when I thought he was going to be a good addition for about 10 minutes or so, then I forgot all about him until this.

And if he had done well in the NFL and was looking to a nice fat second contract, would he be suing at all?
