And if Lauletta is a poor man's NP that's probably a good thing considering that NP was a steal in the 5th round mostly because of the same misguided arm strength concerns.

I'd rather the Bills had Tiny Nate Archibald as their QB.  He's a better athlete.

Nothing wrong with that throw other than .... the lack of velocity and the high arc at the end, allowing a CB to intercept.

You can't hide behind an inconclusive replay review to negate the awful throw, which would make that 4th or 5th such pass in 3 games that was or nearly intercepted.

Nothing wrong with that throw other than one of the best players in the NFL made a play and we all know the INT was not clean and should have been overturned.

Quite frankly most NP critics don't understand that his throws have so much velocity and accuracy our WR's simply weren't used it because TT never looked their way much and when he did made wildly inaccurate throws.

You are a troll

I pity your life that you need to come to a message board and fake having sources/information and tout some soon to be used car salesman to get your jollies...

Try going out and getting a friend or two, I would say girlfriend but I want it to be realistic. Having actual, real life friends might do you wonders

I sent out a satirical tweet saying this exact thing this morning which I can only assume SaviorEdwards stole to turn into a thread.

Nothing new here.

Happens when you are the guys "source", anything you put out there he assumes he can use to enforce his football prowess over the underlings of TBD.

Sweet Jesus...It's really like he believes the insanity that he spews.

For a 5th round pick that probably shouldn't have seen the field last year, NP's body of work is impressive especially the Colts game.

And remember, despite all the armchair GM's on there that claim he's terrible, not going to be on the team this year, etc....there is a reason why '2 time probowl' QB TT was benched for NP and that's because of the realization he's the better player even if it backfired initially. Also same reason why NP is likely going to be the guy by default heading into training camp unless a miracle happens and we land Sam Darnold.

Getting back on topic though, Kyle Lauletta also impresses me a lot and I'd love to take a flyer on him if he's still on the board in the 4th round when we pick.

that is not a flattering assessment.

But does he have arm arrogance or arm humility ?

The arrogance will grow as he becomes more involved in high level business meetings.

I don't know how many times the same thing needs to be repeated.  Tyrod's crappy play has nothing to do wih Peterman's suckitude last year.  And if McDermott had the gift of time travel, there's no way in hell he pulls Taylor for the Chargers game.  He listened to his OC, and almost cost the season.  That's why the OC was shown the door.

Does he go back in time, and keep Cardale?

To do what, replace Wood?

Oh come on...  Even if you questioned whether Cardale had superior arm talent to Peterman in the beginning, you can't seriously do that now... I like Nate Peterman, but we should have hung onto Cardale.

Arm strength was never a questionable trait for Jones.  Everything else, on the other hand ...

So you're saying Cardale's accuracy and decision making was worse than Peterman's too?

As a NP fan, that seems pretty damn unlikely... Peterman has a history of smoothing out rough starts, so I think in the end he'll be fine.

Cardale, by contrast, never really had what I'd consider a "rough start"... I think if he'd been given the same opportunity as Peterman, We'd have an improving young QB to build around.

I have done some under the radar reporting on Lauletta recently, but his stock is rising after holding his own among the 'elite' prospects at the senior bowl last week. And as one source of mine stated: "In this league it's not about the size of the (college) program you come from, it's what you do when you get here'

Personally I have a 5th round grade on him, but don't be surprised if a shrewd team (i.e. the patriots) take him much higher. In fact I've been hearing whispers that Lauletta is in fact high on the NE radar and these are the exact type of guys Belichick has found success with in years past like Jimmy G also coming out of a lesser college program.

Not saying the Bills should pounce because Lauletta is certainly a developmental prospect and nowhere ready to be a starter, but if we are looking for another option to sit a few years and learn behind NP it would be a smart choice and we could find ourselves in a situation with two legit NFL starters a few years from now.

Really?.............learn from Peterman, eh?

And who is Peterman going to learn from?

Why do I even bother?

Learning behind Tyrod Taylor is scary enough.... I don't think learning behind Nate Peterman is even a possibility.
